30 Weeks

I am 30 weeks pregnant today. It is so exciting to make it into the 30's after never making it out of the 20's when I was pregnant with Brandon and his sister. I am feeling good but large. My feet and ankles have started swelling since Monday when the weather got warmer. The doctor said to try to keep my feet up as much as I can which is impossible since I teach kindergarten and I am on my feet all day and to drink a lot of water. My blood pressure is good so he is not concerned. It is from the warmer weather. I am measuring a little ahead of where I am in the pregnancy but he wasn't concerned. The baby is measuring 3 pounds, 5 ounces which seems so big to me compared to the 1 pound, 14 ounces Brandon weighed when he was born. I go back on May 10th and then have my high risk appointment on May 13th.

Spring Break

We have been enjoying our Spring break but have been very busy. On Monday we went to Stu's aunt and uncle's house. Brandon had fun playing with his 3rd cousins, Matt and Ali, and his cousins, Zack and Ben, who were also there.

On Tuesday we went to Jungleriffic with my friend Nancy and her son, Justin, who is a year younger than Brandon. Brandon and Justin had a lot of fun playing on the play structures and with the toys.





Tuesday night Stu, Brandon, and I went to my parents for dinner. Brandon enjoyed playing with my mom's ipad. He knew exactly what to do.


On Wednesday Brandon and I went to my friend Becky's house so that Brandon could play with her son, Logan, who is Brandon's age. We met them at a park in their developement and played their for awhile and then went back to their house. The boys had fun playing with Logan's toys and we ordered pizza.

Yesterday we went to the park with Ben, Zack, Debbie and Rich. Brandon's friend, Danny, was also at the park with his dad so Brandon and Danny were happy to see eachother.

3rd Trimester

I am now in my 3rd trimester. It is so weird for me to realize that I never even made it to my 3rd trimester when I was pregnant with Brandon and his twin. Everything is still going well with my pregnancy. I am still getting the weekly 17P shots and I am now starting to go to the doctor every 2 weeks. I had an appointment on Tuesday and baby boy looked great.

Breakfast With the Easter Bunny

We went to Stu's firehouse this morning to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny. When we first got there Brandon was afraid to go too close to the Easter Bunny. He eventually went over to get a lollipop and to give the bunny a high 5 but then walked away. He sat and ate his pancake and kept watching the other kids sit on the Easter Bunny's lap. By the time he was finished with his breakfast he was happy to sit on the bunny's lap.


After the breakfast we went into the bays to see the firetrucks. Brandon had fun running and jumping on the metal grates and making lots of noise on them.

Ice Hockey Game

Last night Brandon, Stu, and I and both sets of our parents went to a benefit ice hockey game. The benefit was to raise money for a soldier who lost his leg in Iraq who grew up playing ice hockey where the game was. One team was made up of retired Devils and Rangers players.

Beautiful Afternoon

It was so nice out this afternoon when Stu and I got home from work (in the 70s) so we decided to go to the beach so Hershey and Brandon could run around. It was a lot colder at the beach but we still had a good time. Brandon enjoyed running in the sand and collecting shells and driftwood and also going on the swing at the beach. I can't wait until the weather finally decides to stay nice.

Easter Playdate

Brandon and I went to an Easter playdate at our friend Tara, Brandon, and Paul's house today. Our friends Dina and Ava, Beth, Larry, Hannah, and Avery, Keri, Evan, and Brandon, and Kim were also there. Tara had cookies for the kids to decorate with frosting and sprinkles which was a big hit. She also had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Brandon put one egg in his bucket and was done. Brandon also had a lot of fun playing on Brandon's swingset and jumping in the bounce house that was set up.

26 weeks

I am 26 weeks pregnant today. At this point in my pregnancy with Brandon I went into the hospital because I started bleeding. The next morning I had an emergency c section. I can't believe I have reached that point in this pregnancy where I had Brandon. I am so happy that things with this pregnancy seem to be going well still. I will be happy on Sunday when I am the most pregnant that I have ever been.
