Happy 1st Birthday Wesley

Wesley's 1st birthday was yesterday. I can't believe a year went by already since we welcomed him into the world. It really went by fast. Both sets of grandparents came over for dinner to celebrate Wesley's birthday. We are having his party on Sunday. He goes to the pediatrician next Friday for his well visit so I will have his stats then. I am curious to see how big he is. Wesley wasn't a huge fan of his birthday cupcake. He didn't really know what to do with it and when I tried to feed it to him he closed his mouth.

Doggy Blanket

Wesley has a doggy blanket that I bought for him when he was only a few weeks old. I started giving it to him about a month ago to sleep with at night and he LOVES it. He carries it around with him when he is awake and tries to say doggy (it sounds more like piggy). He likes it so much that I had to look online to order an extra one for when he goes to daycare in the fall and incase he loses his.

Olivia's Birthday Party

On Sunday we went to Olivia's birthday party. It was at her house. There were several pools set up in the backyard for the kids to play in. Brandon had so much fun. Logan was there too and Jen, Olivia's sister, and they all enjoyed playing together.

First Day of Camp

Brandon's first day of camp was yesterday. He is going to camp at Ivy Hedge on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for four weeks. Unfortunately he isn't going today though since he had a fever of 101.9 yesterday afternoon. He had a great first day of camp. When I came to pick him up he told me all of the kids were his friends and showed me his teachers. He was very excited to tell me all about what he did at camp. He is in the pre-k class this year. He will be going to school at Ivy Hedge in the fall for the mornings so it is nice that he can get used to it now.

NICU family reunion

On Saturday Brandon, Wesley, and I went to the NICU family reunion at Dorbrook Park. Unfortunately Stu couldn't come since he had to work. We had a lot of fun and saw a lot of our friends. It was a great place to have the reunion. There is a sprayground there and a playground. Brandon also had fun doing sand art and I won zhu zhu pets and accessories for them.

Pool Day

The weather the last two days has been almost 100 degrees so we decided to go to the pool today. We get to go to the Ocean Township pool for free since Stu is a firefighter in town. My dad came and went with us. Both boys loved the pool. It took Wesley a little while to warm up but once he did he couldn't get enough of it.
