Week 11 Karen/ Week 10 Brandon and Wesley

We made it through another week. There has been some normalcy that is returning. Beaches are open again and we have been going to our beach club to take advantage of that. Sports are allowed to resume on June 22 and camps are allowed to restart beginning July 6 (depending on what the camps decide to do).

We walked a trail at Thompson Park.
We also went to our cabana at our beach club to start bringing some things and setting up the floors. The beach club is open but for now the pool is closed so we only have the ocean to use. I am not sure if or when they will open the pool. Right now they are waiting to see what Murphy says.
Memorial Day at the beach and in our backyard with both sets of grandparents
Brandon had to make a healthy snack for his connections class. He made a yogurt berry parfait.
We went to a birthday parade for Wesley's friend, Dominic.

Virtual Learning Week 10 Karen/ Week 9 Brandon and Wesley

Another week done!

Last Sunday we went on a trail at Clayton Park in Cream Ridge. We then went to the Cream Ridge Winery for curbside pick up.
Haircuts for all by me
I went to my classroom to pack it up on Tuesday since this was my scheduled week. It was so strange walking into my room with the calendar still set at March 13th since that is the last time I had been there.
One of my students came to the window outside the classroom to say hi
Wesley got a guitar from someone who Stu knows who was getting rid of their old one. He is using an app to learn how to play.
A family project. There was someone local who was selling the boards with everything completed except for the hand prints that we had to add.
My friend, Erika, left this on our front porch as a surprise on Friday morning.
Brandon and I went to Lab Corp since he needed bloodwork done.
On Friday when school ended we went to Tatum Park and Deepcut Gardens. We went on a trail and looked at the coyfish.
Yesterday we got our new puppy. Her name is Missy (she came with the name) and she came here from Louisiana. She is between 3-4 months old.
Our frozen creamsicle drink from Jacks last night. Restaurants are allowed to sell mixed drinks for now.
Thank you Essential Workers.
National Wine Day lasts a long time.
