Exhausted
Brandon was watching tv on Saturday morning and I was on the computer. I glanced over at him and this is what I saw.

22 Weeks
I realize I haven't been doing a good job updating how I am doing with my pregnancy on here.
I am 22 weeks today. Things are going really well with this pregnancy so far. I had already been on bedrest for almost 3 weeks the last pregnancy at this point.
We found out a day shy of 15 weeks that we are having another boy. So far he is called baby no name.
I started getting a weekly shot called a P17 shot at 16 weeks. I will get it once a week until I am 36 weeks. I have a visiting nurse who comes to my house every weekend to give me the shot. It is supposed to help with people who have had preterm deliveries in past pregnancies. The shot helps to keep your uturus from contracting.
I have gone for 3 cervical checks and my cervix is between 4 and 5 cm which the doctors are really happy with. I didn't have cervical issues the first pregnancy but they are being extra cautious with this pregnancy after everything that happened with the last. My high risk doctor keeps telling me he thinks it really is the difference between a singleton pregnancy and twin pregnancy with me.
I will try to have Stu take a picture of me and post it on here to show what I look like. I have really popped. Brandon points to my stomach and says "baby" but I don't think he really understands that there will be a baby living here with us in a few months.

Elmo's Birthday Party
Last Saturday the Borders book store near us was having a birthday party for Elmo's third birthday so we went to check it out. I have to admit it was very lame. Elmo didn't even make an appearance. When the kids sang happy birthday they sang it to an Elmo puppet. I would have thought there would be a dressed up person as Elmo. The kids colored birthday cards for Elmo and had cookies and hot chocolate which Brandon enjoyed.

Appointments
Last Friday Brandon had an appointment at his pulminologist. His pulminologist has wanted to see him every 3 months since last June. The doctor was happy with how well Brandon is doing and just said to continue on the singulair. He said that we might need to add zyrtec or claritin when allergy season hits in the spring. He wants to see Brandon again in 2-3 months and then won't see him until after the summer.
On Monday Stu, Brandon, and I met with the public school and Brandon's early intervention case manager for a transition meeting. Brandon will age out of early intervention in July when he turns 3. He is only in it for speech and is doing so well. He is really starting to catch up. He has well over 100 words now, repeats words he doesn't say regularly, and is starting to put together 2 and 3 word phrases. I have to write a letter to the public school in April requesting to have Brandon tested but they pretty much told me to keep him in a closet so he doesn't continue to learn (basically they don't think he will qualify). On Tuesday we went to look at a preschool that we will send Brandon to if he doesn't qualify for the public school.
On Tuesday we also went to the developmental clinic. Brandon saw a speech therapist, physical therapist, and one of the neonatologists, Dr. Rekedal. He was discharged from the developmental clinic since he has caught up to where they want him to be at his current age. He really has come such a long way in the past 31 months since he was born.

Point Pleasant Aquarium
On Saturday Stu had a class all day with his fire department so Brandon and I went to my parents beach house in Point Pleasant. Brandon played there for awhile and then we went to the boardwalk to go to the aquarium. He really enjoyed it there but was scared every time a big fish swam towards him. He didn't realize that the glass wall would keep them from getting him. He really enjoyed seeing the seals being fed. After the aquarium we went to a few arcades and I won Brandon a stuffed Elmo by picking it up with a claw. He keeps calling his Elmo "new Elmo."

Superbowl
For the Superbowl this year we went to our friends, John and Rachel's, house. We were excited to watch it because the Steelers were in it this year. Unfortunately they lost to the Packers. Brandon had a good time at John and Rachel's house. They have a 6 month old baby, Tori, who he kept pointing to and saying "baby."
