Oakhurst Fire Department 100th Anniversary

This year is the 100th anniversary of Stu's fire department. Two weekends ago the museum in town had an exhibit set up with memorabilia from Stu's fire department. Last weekend his fire company did a re-enactment of the signing of the charter. I brought the boys to the firehouse after it since they had food for everyone. Both Brandon and Wesley loved sitting in the firetrucks. Maybe they will be future firefighters like their dad!

Playing at the Park

Yesterday was a beautiful day so after we picked Wesley up at school I took Brandon and Wesley to the park to play. At first they took off in two different directions but then they were playing together. They both had a lot of fun and we were there for awhile.

Liberty Science Center

Brandon, Stu, and I went to the Liberty Science Center yesterday. There was a Curious George exhibit there that will be there until the middle of May that we wanted to take him to see. My Spring break was this week and his was last week so we decided to take him out of school for the day so we could go. He said he had a really fun time.

Spring Weather

It was a really nice day today. The weather was sunny and in the 60s for the first time this Spring. I brought Wesley and Brandon outside to play before Brandon had to go to school this afternoon. Their daycare was still closed today for Spring break. They go back there tomorrow. The boys loved playing on the swingset and running around the backyard.
