Brandon had his last t-ball game of the season on Saturday morning. He had his best hit during the game. He really improved a lot during the season and learned a lot about playing t-ball.
After Brandon's game his coach passed out medals to the kids. She also gave them Oriole lollipops that she made and cupcakes that another parent made.
Wesley even enjoyed a cupcake!
Brandon's best friend, Shane, had a game right after him. He was excited to see her.
Later in the afternoon Brandon, Wesley, and I went to the Middletown Fire Academy where Stu was teaching. We watched the fire companies put out car fires. Then we stayed and had a barbeque with some of the other instructors and their families. There was a 4 year old boy named Braeden and a 4 year old girl named Casey that Brandon and Wesley had fun playing with.
On Sunday Wesley went to a birthday party at House of Bounce for his friend, Jack, from school. Wesley loved it there. He was there about a month ago for another birthday party and would hardly do anything but this time he did a lot of the bounce houses. Wesley and Jack were so excited to see each other. I had to include both pictures even though the second one is blurry to show how excited they were.
This morning I came downstairs after getting dressed and this is how I found Brandon and Wesley. Wesley asked me to take a picture.

Brandon's Art Show
Brandon's school had an art show last night. My parents, Stu, the boys, and I went. Every kid in the school had one of their art pieces framed and on display. You could purchase the picture for $25 which of course I did, especially since none of his art works have come home from school this year and I didn't know if they are sending them home at the end of the year. Brandon really liked finding his picture. He saw a lot of kids he knew at the art show which he loved. There were different props for taking pictures of the kids and coloring pages for the kids to do.

Sesame Place
Last Sunday my dad, Wesley, Brandon, and I went to Sesame Place for the first time this season. Stu was working at the fire academy so he couldn't come with us and my mom was in New York for the day with some of her friends. Sesame Place was opening a new land called Cookie Monster Land and there was a preview that day for season pass members. Brandon and I did some rides in Cookie Monster Land, saw two new characters, Honker and Dinger, that are in Cookie Monster Land, and then Brandon rode the roller coaster with me one time and with my dad one time and also went on the merry go round. We also saw lots of characters which is Wesley's favorite part of Sesame Place.

Fleet Week and Slip and Slide
Yesterday afternoon Stu, Brandon, Wesley, and I went to Fleet Week. We decided to go see the boats that were in Staten Island instead of the boats that were in New York since we thought there would be less traffic. The drive there wasn't bad at all. We found a spot on the street and walked to where the boats were. We even got to see the FDNY Marine boat that is there all of the time which made Stu happy. We just didn't get to climb on it. We waited in line for a long time to get on the USS Cole and get a tour of it online. It was very impressive to see. Both boys said they had a good time.
When we got home we went outside to play. Brandon started talking about wanting to try to go on a slip and slide and asked if I could buy one. I had actually bought a different brand one years ago on sale that I never opened so I got it and opened it. Both boys had so much fun going on it. They especially liked the water that was spraying from the side of it like a sprinkler.

Walnford Day
On Sunday, after the race, we went to Walnford Day. Walnford is an old estate in Upper Freehold. There were several historic buildings on the property that we got to tour. There were also horse drawn wagon rides that all of us except for Wesley and Stu went on since Wesley was too scared. They had kids races too that both boys had so much fun doing. They first had to roll a hoop, then carry corn on a spoon, then put a hat or bonnet on, and last ride on a stick with a horse head on it.
