Wesley's Halloween Parade

I took a personal day from work today to go see Wesley's Halloween Parade. Stu came also since he had some flex time to use. He was so excited for it when he woke up this morning. The first thing he said when he woke up was, "I am so exciting for my Halloween parade today." I brought him to school and went back at 9:30 for his parade. He was so happy as soon as he spotted us watching him.

The kids walked around several times and then sang some Halloween songs. Wesley was next to his best friend, Olivia, who was Skye from Paw Patrol. It went along perfectly with Wesley's Chase from Paw Patrol costume.

Wesley went back into the school for a Halloween party after the parade. Parents weren't allowed in but I did send in donut spiders that I made last night.

Apple and Pumpkin Picking

Brandon, Wesley, and Stu were all off today for Columbus Day. Unfortunately I had a professional day at work so was not able to spend the day with them. Stu took the kids to Eastmont Orchard to go apple picking and pumpkin picking. Everyone had a fun time!

JJ's Birthday Party and Tinton Falls Day

Yesterday afternoon Wesley went to his friend JJ's birthday party. It was on a pirate ship. Brandon got to come also since there were extra spots on the boat. All of the kids had so much fun.

After the party we went to Tinton Falls Day. The kids got to go on pony rides, bounce houses, paint pumpkins, and go to touch a truck. They also saw a helicopter land. We ran into several friends there too.

More Soccer Pictures

My friend Toni's father is a photographer. He was at Wesley's first soccer game since his grandson, Dominic, is on Wesley's team. He took some great pictures and put them on his private photography page. I copied some of the pictures since they came out so great.

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Yesterday morning we went to the kids workshop at Home Depot. Brandon and Wesley built fire trucks. I had signed up when I saw what they would be making but we didn't know if we would make it because of soccer games. It started raining here days ago and was still raining yesterday so both soccer games were cancelled which made it so we could go to the workshop after all.

Spirit Day

On Friday, Brandon had Spirit Day at his school. He had to wear a team shirt. He chose his Steelers jersey to wear despite a disappointing loss in over time the night before.
