Family Getaway

Brandon and I were off of school on Thursday and Friday because of teacher conventions. So Stu decided to take off and we took Wesley out of school for a few days and went to visit Stu's brother, sister in law, and nephew in Maryland. We left Wednesday after work/ school and got there around 9:45. On Thursday we went to Washington DC for the day. First we stopped on the way for the kids to see the airplanes landing at BWI and to play on a playground. We were able to see the Capital, White House, Washington Monument, and Lincoln Memorial from a distance. We also spent some time at the Air and Space Museum and the kids rode on the merry go round on the mall.

On Friday we went to the National Zoo.

On the way home from Maryland we stopped at the University of Delaware so Brandon and Wesley could see where I went to college. It happened to be homecoming so it was a good day for us to stop!

Happy Halloween!

Brandon and Wesley had a fun Halloween.

On Mischief Night we went to the firehouse to hang out. Brandon and Wesley decorated canvas Halloween bags there, ate delicious apple cider donuts, and sang happy birthday to the furweasel.

Halloween day for both of them started off with soccer games. I coach Wesley's team so couldn't take pictures at it but my mom took some pictures at Brandon's game.

After the soccer games my parents, the kids, and I went to Great Adventure for a few hours. Brandon and Wesley got to go on a few rides and got to trick or treat where the characters were hanging out.

We then came back to our house for a little while and got ready to go trick or treating. Our friend, Tyler, came to our house to trick or treat so we started off trick or treating with him for a little bit before trick or treating on our own.

Halloween Parades

Brandon and Wesley both had Halloween parades at their school on Friday. Stu and I could not go so both sets of grandparents went to see them in their parades. My mom took some pictures which came out great.

Haircuts

A few weeks ago Brandon and Wesley got their haircut at The Wave.
