Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

We went to the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny today at Stu's fire department. Brandon and Wesley were both excited to see the Easter Bunny. We also went in the smoke trailer which taught the kids a lot about fire safety. Wesley's friend, Dominic, from school and his family were there too as well as friends from the fire department.

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday afternoon I brought Brandon and Wesley to an Easter Egg Hunt. I found out about it earlier in the morning and thought they would enjoy it. My friend, Leigh Anne, met us with her kids, Tyler and Travis, at the hunt. Each age went by itself. The kids collected plastic eggs in their buckets and then had to take out the pieces of paper inside and redeem them for candy. It was a big hit!

End of Basketball

Brandon's last basketball game of the season was a few weeks ago. At the end of the game his coach passed out trophies to the kids.

Child of the Week

Wesley is child of the week this week at school. We had to make a poster with pictures of him which is hanging on the wall at school this week. He came home from school on the first day with a crown and brought munchkins to school on Monday for a treat. Each day he has had a job at school and has brought show and tell and a book for his teacher to read.

Introduction

I am linking up to Kelly's Korner today. My name is Karen and I have been blogging for 8 years. I started my blog when I was going through infertility treatments with my oldest son, Brandon. I got pregnant with Brandon and his twin sister. Unfortunately my sac ruptured on his twin sister at 19 1/2 weeks and I delivered her a week later. I stayed pregnant with Brandon until 26 weeks, 1 day when he was born, weighing 1 pound 14 ounces and 13 inches long. Brandon is now 7 1/2 and a very healthy and happy 2nd grader.

Wesley was born full term in June 2011. He will be 5 this year and is in preK.

I have been married to my husband, Stu, for 10 years this Friday. I can't believe it has been that long already.

I am a kindergarten teacher. I really love working with children. I wanted to be a teacher from the time that I was in kindergarten!

Teddy Bear Day

Wesley had teddy bear day at his school yesterday. After looking through all of the stuffed animals in his room he decided to bring his Batman bear to school for teddy bear day.

Dr. Seuss Week

This week Brandon's school had different special days because of Dr. Seuss's birthday. He had fun dressing the different ways each day.
