New York City

When we came out of the Lego Land Discovery Center there was a fountain that the kids threw pennies into and made wishes.

We then drove to New York City to stay in a hotel overnight. We went out to dinner at a good Irish Pub that we found. Our hotel was right near Macy's so we stopped there on our way home since they were having a flower show. The kids had fun posing for some pictures.

The next morning we went to the New York auto show. Early in the morning, during the week, is definitely the best time to go. It only started to get crowded as we were leaving it. There were some really neat cars that the kids liked climbing into.

After the auto show we went to the M and M store and to the Hershey store. They were both big hits.

Lego Land Discovery Center

We went to the Lego Land Discovery Center in New York on Wednesday. The kids, especially Wesley, were so excited to go. Both kids loved it there. There were tons of interactive exhibits, unbelievable things made out of legos, two rides, a lego class, a 4d movie, and a play place.

Bowling with Friends

The kids and I have Spring break this week. Yesterday we met up with two of Wesley's best friends, Kennedy and Olivia, to go bowling. The kids had such a good time. They are way too cute together. After bowling we brought the kids to Pete and Elda's for lunch. They have the best pizza. Wesley is not a huge fan of pizza usually but he loved their pizza and ate almost the whole slice.

On Sunday we went to the outlets. The Easter bunny was walking around so we had to get a picture with him.

Great Adventure

Great Adventure just opened again for the season. We went on Saturday. Brandon loved the rides as usual but Wesley surprised us by going on so many more rides than he did last year and liking almost all of them. The only one he didn't like was the kids roller coaster but he is willing to try it again to see if he likes it the next time. Brandon and Wesley also liked seeing some of the characters. A dance party with the characters started when we were seeing them and Wesley went and joined in and danced with Daffy Duck.

Monmouth University Basketball NIT Game

Last night we went to see Monmouth play in the NIT. They won their first game so it was their second game in the tournament since they won their first game. They played GW. Unfortunately they lost the game. It definitely was not the best that they played. They had a great season though and we can't wait to go to more games next year!
