California- Day 4 (Papa Earle's birthday, Pictures, and Brewery)

Tuesday was Papa Earle's (my dad's) birthday. The first thing we did was go to a beautiful park where a photographer took family pictures. I can't wait to see how they came out. I took a few pictures with my phone of Stu and the boys.

We then went to Russian River Brewery. The beer there was great. Definitely worth the trip to the brewery. Stu and I brought some of the Pliny beer home with us since we can't buy it near us.

We then went to Laura's parents' house. They have an amazing view from their house of the Golden Gate Bridge. We went swimming there, had a delicious dinner, and then celebrated Papa Earle's birthday with some cupcakes. All four boys helped Papa Earle blow out his candles.

California- Day 3 (San Francisco)

On Monday morning Brian came to the house where we were staying with Nolan and Griffin. The older 3 boys picked lemons from the lemon tree at the house.

We then went into San Francisco. We took the BART and then walked over to where the sea lions are that hang out on the docks. There were probably only 5 or 6 sea lions instead of the docks being covered like they were when we saw them in the past since it was mating season. We did see some nice views of the golden gate bridge from there and we could also see alcatraz. We then walked around the boardwalk area and saw a magic show. We also looked in some of the shops there. Our last stop was In N Out Burger.

California- Day 1 and 2 (Brian's House and Fairyland)

We went to California to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and nephews on June 26th and came home on June 30th. We had such a good time there. It was so nice to see the boys spend time with their cousins and really get to know them well and for us to spend time with Brian and Laura. My parents came with us too so it was also nice to spend the time with them. Our first day there was mostly spent flying to California, getting the rental car, and driving to Brian and Laura's house. Once there Brandon and Wesley had fun running around the yard with their cousins and playing with them.

The next day we went to Fairyland to see the play Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site. The play was about 45 minutes and all 4 boys really seemed to like it. The actors came to take pictures with the audience after the show. After the play we walked around Fairyland for awhile and the boys played on some slides and went on a few small rides.

1. What is your favorite color? A couple of different colors- I mean all of the colors.

2. What is your favorite toy? I have two favorites. Magna Mix and the Rubix Cube. And I like Buzz Light Year that I have.

3. What is your favorite fruit? I have a couple. Let me say. Honeydew, cantaloupe, green grapes, blueberries, strawberries too!

4. What is your favorite tv show? Blaze, Bubble Guppies, Mickey Mouse, Elmo (a little bit)

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? a cream cheese sandwich and chicken nuggets, and green pasta with butter. That's it.

6. What is your favorite shirt? all of the shirts, I like them all the best

7. What is your favorite game? I don't know. I forgot what games we have.

8. What is your favorite snack? goldfish

9. What is your favorite animal? a zebra, a turtle, giraffe, elephant, frog, dogs, cats, ducks, cows, chickens, whale, shark, fish, lions, sea lions, seals

10. What is your favorite song? Mary Had a Little Lamb, ABC's, my graduation songs that I did with Ms. Maria, and the songs that I did with Ms. Maria too

11. What is your favorite book? Snow Bugs, Elephant and Piggie books, Pete the Cat, Pigeon books

12. Who is your best friend? Olivia and Kennedy, our neighbors, all of my teachers

13. What is your favorite cereal? cinnamon toast crunch

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? playing baseball, playing soccer, playing football with Brandon, playing on the jungle gym outside, the trampoline and the swing set

15. What is your favorite drink? apple juice, milk, water, lemonade, grape juice

16. What do you want to be when you grow up? a space alien, a pilot, a fire truck person that drives a fire truck maybe, maybe a police

17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? doggy, all of my stuffed animals

18. What is your favorite sport? soccer, football, I would like baseball I think, I like t-ball a lot. I want to play t-ball again if I could.

Wesley's 5th Birthday Party

Wesley's birthday party was on June 23rd at Bounce U. He had a lot of friends from school at his party along with some other friends. Wesley had a great time at his party and really enjoyed seeing all of his friends there.
