Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade

Basketball

Both boys had great coaches for basketball this year. They had the same coaches they had last year. They both had nice boys on their team too. Brandon had a great defensive season and did score a few baskets. This was the first year that Brandon's age group was allowed out of the box on defense so it definitely was a big difference. Wesley scored his first two ever baskets this season too. Unfortunately the only picture I got is of Wesley's team since Brandon's team never got together for a team picture.

Dr. Seuss Week

Wesley had special days the whole last week of February for Dr. Seuss' birthday which was on March 2nd. This is always a favorite week for the kids. Now that Brandon is in middle school he didn't participate since it is only the elementary school that has the special days.

Monday- Dress like your favorite Dr. Seuss character. Wesley chose to dress like Horton Hears a Who this year.
Twisted Top of Your Head Tuesday
Wednesday- Crazy Sock Day and Wear Red and White for Dr. Seuss
Clash Thursday
Friday- Pajama Day

Futsal

Brandon's soccer team had their final futsal game this past Sunday. It was also their final game as the Warriors Black since the team is breaking up after the winter. Half of the players will be going to Warriors White and the other half will be going to Storm White. Brandon had a great futsal season. He scored 6 goals!

Snow Afternoon

Last week the forecast was predicting several inches of snow starting in the early afternoon. The school districts called an early dismissal the night before since they wanted to get the students home before the snow was really bad. Brandon and Wesley had a lot of fun playing in the snow when they got home. It was all melted the next day since the temperature was in the 50s but it was fun while it lasted.
Wesley's travel soccer team in the Fall came in first place. The trophies came in a few weeks ago so his coach had a party at his house and then presented the players with their trophies. Only first and second place are awarded trophies.
Later that day his soccer team went to the Monmouth University basketball game together.

100th Day

The 100th day of school was in the middle of February. Wesley had to make a hat with 100 objects to wear to school. He chose to put a combination of little sports ball beads and little bells on his hat.
