Vacation Part 2- Bar Harbor, Maine/ Acadia National Park

For our second half of our vacation we went to Bar Harbor, Maine and went to Acadia National Park. We hiked, ate at some great restaurants, walked to Bar Island at low tide, saw the lighthouse at Bass Harbor Head, went to Jordan Pond, Thunder Hole, and the top of Cadillac Mountain, and stopped at Shipyard Brewery in Portland.

We stopped in Portland on the way to Bar Harbor

Vacation Part 1- Lake Winnespesaukee, NH

In August we went on vacation. Our first stop was in Lake Winnespesaukee, NH. We really enjoyed it. We stayed in a resort right on the lake. Stu’s college roommate, Brian, has a house down the street from where we stayed. We got together with him and his family every night. He has two kids that our kids had fun hanging out with. In NH we went on a boat ride to lunch, a boat ride to dinner, swam in the lake, and went hiking at the flume. We also saw some amazing sunsets.

Italian Festival

The Italian Festival was back this year! The town didn’t have it last summer because of Covid. We went to the festival three nights.

Great Adventure with Friends

We went to Great Adventure with the Green’s and Caramanica’s in August. All of the kids had fun going on rides together. Some of the kids and the 3 moms even went on the New Jersey Devil roller coaster!

East Windsor Get Together

One of my friends who I grew up with had a bunch of us over her house recently for a reunion. There were 8 of us there, our spouses, and our kids. It was really so nice seeing everyone and the kids all had fun hanging out together.
