Blue Claws Game

Last Sunday we went to the Blue Claws baseball game. They are a minor league team that plays about a half hour from our house. Stu's parents came with us. We bought tickets because it was dollar ticket weekend. We had no idea until we got to the game that our seats were in the first row! It wound up being a beautiful day to be outdoors. The temperature at the park was 84 degrees!

Playing at the Beach and Rides

Last weekend it was beautiful out. We decided to go to the beach to play in the sand and then went to the boardwalk for Brandon to go on some rides. Wesley still refuses to go on rides since he thinks they are scary. Both boys had so much fun playing in the sand and collecting shells.

One day last week I picked Wesley up from school and then we went to play at a playground near our house. Brandon was at after care still since he wants to stay late most days. Wesley really enjoyed playing on the slides.

Breakfast With the Easter Bunny

This morning Stu's fire company had breakfast with the Easter bunny so we went to it. Both Brandon and Wesley enjoyed seeing the Easter bunny this year. Wesley was mostly because I had told him ahead of time if he sat on the Easter bunny's lap he would get a treat. Thank goodness they had lollipops. I think Wesley must have had four!

Train Ride and Park

Brandon was supposed to have his first t-ball game this morning but it rained yesterday and the t-ball field was under water so they had to reschedule it for later this month. We decided to go to Allaire State Park to go on the train ride that they have there. Brandon and Wesley had fun on the train.

After the train ride we went to Shark River Hills park and played on the playground there.

Spring Fling

Wesley was in the Spring Fling show at his school yesterday. It was a really cute show. The kids sang and danced to a bunch of songs. Wesley was so into it until the very end of the show when he started crying because he wanted to go home with me.

DJ's Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to Wesley's friend, DJ's, birthday party. Brandon is best friends with DJ's sister, Shane. We went to the firehouse first to see the fire trucks. Stu showed the kids the fire trucks and then the kids got to sit on the trucks. Then we went back to DJ's house and all of the kids had fun playing downstairs together.
