Mother's Day 2016

I had a very nice Mother's Day yesterday. It started off with Brandon and Wesley giving me presents that they made for me at school. They were so excited to give me what they made. I then brought them to swim lessons. They have both improved so much. I love watching them swim at lessons each week. In the afternoon the weather finally got nice (it rained for almost the whole week) so we went miniature golfing. Both boys really love it. I see a lot of miniature golfing this summer. Stu's parents came over for dinner last night. After dinner I left to bring Brandon to his soccer clinic which was rescheduled from Friday night due to rain. There were only 10 kids there since it was Mother's Day so he really got a lot out of it.

Great Saturday

Yesterday morning Wesley had a t-ball game and Brandon had a soccer game. It was my week to go to Wesley's game. Wesley had three good hits. They play 3 innings in t-ball so each kid is up 3 times. Stu was at Brandon's soccer game. Brandon scored another goal!

Wesley then went to get his haircut since he is getting his pre-k graduation pictures taken this week.

My uncle was visiting from Arizona. I think the last time I saw him was 7 years ago so it was really nice to see him and spend the day with him. We went to Point Pleasant Boardwalk. The kids had lots of fun playing games, going on rides, and playing on the beach.

We finished the day by going out to dinner for an early Mother's Day with my parents and uncle.

Half Marathon

Stu ran the Long Branch half marathon this morning. It was pouring rain but he still did it.

Paw Patrol

Yesterday I brought Brandon and Wesley to Shore Cake Supply to meet Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol. They got to meet the two characters, make edible sand art with sugar sand, decorate a cupcake, and play pin the badge on Chase.

Soccer

Brandon had another great soccer game this weekend. He scored another soccer goal (4 so far this season!).

Bring Your Kid to Work Day

Brandon and Wesley both came with me to school today for bring your kid to work day. Brandon had been looking forward to today since last year. Wesley was back and forth until last night if he was going to come to school with me because he was afraid to meet my kids and didn't want to miss going to his school. Both boys wound up having a really good time. They made friends with the students in my class and enjoyed doing kindergarten work. They were extra excited since it was pajama day and they got to wear pajamas to school.

Pajama Day

Wesley had pajama day at school yesterday. He had been looking forward to it all year and was so excited to pick out which pair of his pajamas he wanted to wear to school yesterday.
