Pool Day

Brandon had his last day of soccer camp yesterday and Wesley did not have camp. I brought him to the pool for the day. My parents came with us too. Wesley loved showing them how he swims. Wesley's friend, Dominic, and his sister, Deanna, were at the pool so he played with them most of the time we were there. His friend, Louie, was also there for a little while.

Enoying the Summer

We are having a nice summer so far. The weeks seem to be going by pretty fast since the kids are in camp during the week (Wesley is Tuesday-Thursday and Brandon is Monday-Friday). We have found time on the weekends and after camp on some days to do some other fun summer activities.

We went to AC Moore one week. Every Wednesday they have some kind of craft day for kids. You can show up any time from 1-3 on those days and do the craft for free. We went and decorated buckets. We will definitely get to some more of the Wednesdays this summer.

We have also gone to the pool several times. Both kids are fish in the water this summer. The pool has different activities throughout the day for the kids to participate in. One of the favorites is craft time. On the 4th of July they had USA hats for the kids to decorate.

Sesame Place

Wesley went to Sesame Place with my parents on Monday. It was his birthday present. He had a great time with them and especially loved going on the water slides.

Camp

Wesley started camp last week. He is going to camp at the Tinton Falls Coop Preschool three days a week from 9-12 for three weeks. He really liked camp a lot last week. He was so excited to tell me about what he did there when I picked him up each day and separated from me okay. I wasn't sure how he would be since he only knows one other friend there and she was out sick the first two days but he did really well.

Brandon was at the rec camp last week. This is his third year going there and he just loves it. They bring them to different places every day or have a different activity for them to do. A lot of his friends from school go there too so he likes it since he gets to see them.

He is taking two weeks off from rec camp to try soccer camp and basketball camp. This week is soccer camp at Monmouth University. His first day was yesterday and he seemed to like it. He was definitely tired at the end of the day though. It is a big difference from rec camp because rec camp is just half day, soccer camp is 9-3. They were outside pretty much the whole time doing drills and playing the world cup (scrimmages). His trainers are players from the Monmouth soccer team.

Sunday Fun Day

Stu brought Brandon and Wesley to the beach yesterday since I had a bridal shower that I had to go to. They had a really good time there. Wesley's friends, Dominic and Lucy, from school were there so Wesley loved playing with them. Wesley also saw his friend, Justin, from his t-ball team there who he played with. Brandon played with Dominic's sister and Justin's brother.

Last night we went to Brandon's friend, Laila's, house. Brandon, Wesley, and Laila had fun playing together outside. We had a bbq and hung out.
