Lancaster Day 1

The boys and I have Spring break this week. Stu took a few days off of work and we went to Lancaster for two nights. We finished our getaway with a day trip to Philadelphia.

Stop one on our trip was at the Herr's Factory. We went on a tour to see how they make their products. We also got to taste potato chips fresh off of the belt. They were probably the best potato chips we have ever had!
After the Herr's factory we went to check into our motel. We stayed at the Red Caboose in an old caboose car that was converted into a motel room. There was a bunk bed for the kids to sleep in and a full size bed for Stu and me.
A quick stop at New Holland on the way to dinner. We couldn't do the tour since you need to be 12 or older but Stu wanted to see it from the outside.
We went to the Shady Maple for dinner. It is an all you can eat smorgasbord which is really popular in Lancaster. They have an incredible store below it so we had fun looking through the store after dinner.
Our last stop of the day was at the Lancaster Brewing Company.

A Visit with Zack

Zack came to visit on Monday. As always the boys were very happy to see him and spend time with him.

New York Visit

We went to New York yesterday for the day. We started at the auto show. Brandon and Wesley had fun sitting in some of the cars. They also had some interactive things at the auto show. The favorite was the baseball simulator.

After the auto show we went to Dave and Buster's. Brandon and Wesley had been asking for a long time to go there so we finally decided to go. It was a big hit with both kids!

We then went to a brewery for dinner and ended the day with a visit to Carlo's bakery where we picked treats to bring home with us.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

We went to the breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Oakhurst Fire Department last weekend.

Easter Egg Hunt

A few weeks ago we went to an Easter egg hunt with some friends in Tinton Falls. I can honestly say it was the first Easter egg hunt the kids have ever done in snow. They had a lot of fun and got a lot of candy.

Follies 2018- 4th grade finale- Brandon

The 4th grade finale was awesome! The group only got to practice twice due to the snow days but they had a practice after school yesterday to finish learning their dance and they pulled it off. They danced to a Bruno Mars song.
