Dog

Every morning when Brandon wakes up and I go into his room he first picks up his fleece blanket that he sleeps with and rubs it to his face to show me that it is soft. He then picks up his stuffed Elmo that is in his crib and hugs and kisses it. Then he picks up his stuffed dog and hugs and kisses it. This morning he picked up everything as usual. When he got to the dog he said the hard g sound. That is his way of saying dog. He is very consistent with it. The hard g sound is the ending sound in dog and I guess he hears that sound more than the d sound in the beginning. Right after he said the hard g sound he very clearly said the word dog. I made a big deal of it but he wouldn't say it again. At least I know he can say the word dog.

My mom brought over Mr. Potato Head the other day for Brandon to play with. He really has fun playing with it and putting the different parts on Mr. Potato Head.
