Halloween was cancelled in New Jersey on October 31st because of the destruction from the hurricane. The governor rescheduled it for November 5th but our town, along with many other towns, cancelled it again since it is still not safe to trick or treat. Some streets still do not have power and trees, wires, and poles are still down. One of the malls near us was having trick or treating last night so we brought the boys there. The stores ran out of candy pretty quickly but the boys still had fun.
Earlier in the day and this morning I went to the boys nursery school/ daycare to see the parade that they were in. Brandon's class sang four songs at the end of the parade. Brandon had a huge smile on his face both days and looked so happy walking around with his friends.
