Stu, Brandon, Wesley, and I went away from Monday until late last night. We started our vacation by going to visit Stu's cousin, Seth, and his wife, Jen, and their two kids, Sierra and Skylar in Wallkill, NY. We got to their house on Monday afternoon and Brandon, Sierra, and Wesley hit it off right away. They played on the swingset together and went in Sierra's bounce house. We then ate dinner there and stayed overnight.
When we left their house we stopped at the Orange County Choppers and saw the cool bikes.
We then drove to Massachusetts. Our first stop was at Davis Farmland. I have been part of a preemie message board since Brandon was born and two of the families live not too far from there so they came and met us. I got to meet Sam and her daughter, Ella, and I got to meet Christine and her kids, Callum and Norah. Davis Farmland was so cool. Brandon and Wesley really loved it. There were play areas, playgrounds, a bounce house, and tons of animals to pet and hold.
After Davis Farmland we drove to stay with my cousin, Jen, her husband, Mike, and their kids, Mia, Avery, and Brynn. Brandon and Wesley and the girls got along so well. They really all loved playing with each other and hanging out together.
On Wednesday it was raining so we decided to go to the Sam Adams brewery. We had a tour and then we got to taste 3 samples. The rain lightened up a little when we were there so after the tour we decided to go to Fanieul Hall for a little while.
On Thursday we went to the Boston Common and went on a swan boat ride there and also saw the Make Way for Ducklings statues. We then went to the Boston Children's Museum. The last thing we did before leaving to drive home was meet Stu's friend, Robyn, for dinner.
