Follies 2018- 4th grade finale- Brandon

The 4th grade finale was awesome! The group only got to practice twice due to the snow days but they had a practice after school yesterday to finish learning their dance and they pulled it off. They danced to a Bruno Mars song.

Follies 2018- Wesley

Follies was last night at Brandon and Wesley's school. Wesley was in it with a group of his friends and Brandon was in the 4th grade finale.

Wesley and his friends danced to a compilation of songs from the movie Sing. They did a great job! They had many practices which were a lot of fun up to the big night.

Snow Day

We had two snow days this week. Unfortunately that means we have two extra days of school at the end of the school year (Brandon and Wesley have three since they had a day last week too) since we already used our built in days. Brandon and Wesley had fun playing in the snow and sledding with lots of their friends.

12 years!

Our anniversary was on March 18th. I can't believe we have already been married 12 years! We started the day with Brandon's soccer game at 8:00 am. Later that afternoon we went to Kane Brewery. Stu's parents joined us. We finished up the day with going out to dinner at Brando's.

We went to the Asbury Park St. Patrick's Day Parade a few weeks ago.

Meeting Carli Lloyd and Sky Blue FC

A few weeks ago the Soccer Post, a soccer store near here, moved to a new location. They had a grand opening for their new location. Carli Lloyd and the Sky Blue FC team were there to meet and sign autographs. Brandon and Wesley were both really excited to go and meet some professional women players. The whole team, except for Carli Lloyd, were really nice. We bought a soccer ball and jersey for them to sign. As they were signing the items they were talking to Brandon and Wesley and asking them what position they play, what their soccer number is, who their favorite soccer player is. Then we got to Carli Lloyd. We had heard from several people ahead of us that she was rude. I asked if I could take Brandon and Wesley's picture with her. Her response, in a very obnoxious voice, was if you take it really fast. It was still neat meeting the team.

Soccer Finalists

Last night Brandon's soccer team had their end of fall season soccer party at Jack's. They came in second place (really tied for first since they had the same record but then they go to goals scored and against to figure out place). They got a trophy since they were finalists. They had an awesome season and I can't wait to see them play together again in the spring!

Harlem Globetrotters

On Thursday we went to the Harlem Globetrotters game. They were playing at Brookdale and tickets were on Groupon so we decided to buy them. We bought the Magic Pass which let us go two hours before the start time. With the Magic Pass we were able to meet and get autographs from some of the players, shoot baskets with them, and do some other activities.
