Safety Patrol

 Wesley is doing safety patrol this year. 4th graders are allowed to do it so he is doing it this year. 

First Day of School In Person

 Brandon and Wesley went back to school in person this past Thursday. They are only in school in person on Thursdays and Fridays. The other three days they are still virtual. They were both so happy to be back even if only for two days. 

Flag Football and Travel Soccer

Brandon and Wesley had their first flag football games (scrimmages) last Sunday and their first travel soccer games for the season. Brandon’s team lost their scrimmage and Wesley’s team won both of their scrimmages.

 

They also both had their first travel soccer game of the season. They both lost by one point but both teams played great. 

Labor Day Weekend

 We had a great Labor Day weekend. 

We went to the beach on Friday after work, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Labor Day weekend. On Sunday night we stayed for a potluck dinner at the beach with the Green’s and Caramanica’s. 

We also went to my friend Gina’s house for a Labor Day barbecue on Saturday. 

Back to School

Brandon, Wesley, and I all went back to school this week. Their school district is virtual until the week of 9/14 as of now and then will be hybrid. My district had virtual days the first two days and starts hybrid on 9/8. I was actually surprisingly pleased with the great job Ocean did. The teachers were on the chromebook teaching the entire half day. Things look very different this year but at least they are back in school.
