Soccer, Friends, and More

Soccer games have restarted. Both Wesley's team and Brandon's team are playing in the MOSA summer season. NJ sports are allowed contact in this phase so games finally started again.

Wesley's first game was last Sunday against Old Bridge. His team won. Touching eachother is not allowed so they did not touch hands when putting them in the middle before the game. Also they could not say good game and high five at the end of the game to the other team the way they normally would.
Wesley's second game was on Tuesday night against his old Ocean team. He had one of his best games. He scored 2 of the 6 goals his team scored.
Brandon's team had their fist game on Wednesday night. They won 8-3. Brandon had an assist in the game. I coach his team so it is hard for me to take pictures during the game.

Last Sunday night the LaBau's came over to hang out outside. Adam and Ashley stopped by for a while too.
Earlier in the day we went celebrated Jacob's birthday at the beach club. Jacob goes to school with Wesley.
Brandon got his bottom braces this week.
Last night we went to the Sangi's house. Brandon and Wesley had so much fun riding on the ATV's there.

We should find out our plans for returning back to school within the next week or two. Here are some funny memes I have found this week on facebook that pretty much sum up how school will be this year.
Some cute pictures of Missy.

Legos, Boogie Boarding, Drive By, High Honor Roll

Another week of summer just passed. Stu took off this week. Unfortunately the weather was not the best but we did make it to the beach a few times.

Wesley got the Manchester United lego stadium set for his birthday. It is meant for ages 16+ with 3,898 pieces. Wesley finished it by himself in 4 days!
We had Ava's drive by birthday on Tuesday. Later we went back to her house for a water balloon fight and snow cones.
We got a new for us boogie board from one of Stu's friends on the fire company. Brandon has been enjoying it and now Wesley uses the boogie board that Brandon was using that was actually my nephew's old board.
Brandon made high honor roll the last marking period. I am so proud of him! He really worked hard for it.
We still do not know what school will look like in the fall but do know it will be a hybrid of in school and remote learning. I have very mixed feelings about it. While I do believe the kids need school for social reasons and because they learn better from their teachers there are still a lot of scary things about going back to school/work with Covid 19 still infecting the amount of people that it is.

Happy 12th Birthday Brandon!

12! I am not sure how Brandon is already 12.
Presents from Stu and me
Brandon's friend Thomas was going to be away for the drive by so he stopped over to see Brandon before he left a few days before Brandon's birthday
Brandon had a good birthday. We started the day with a drive by birthday parade. He was happy to see his friends in their cars driving by.
We then went to the beach and hung out with the Green's and Caramanica's. I brought birthday donuts from Broad Street Dough Co.
Pictures with grandparents
We got Ruby Tuesdays for dinner(Brandon's choice) and had a Reeses ice cream cake from Coney Waffle.
