Halloween 2019

Brandon and Wesley had a fun Halloween. Wesley was a panda and Brandon was a flying squirrel. Stu went to Wesley's school Halloween parade. Brandon's school doesn't have a parade but they are allowed to wear their costumes to school. The kindergarten/pre k team at my school were butterflies this year.

Happy Day Farm

Last weekend we went to Happy Day Farm. We loved it. You pay a certain price per person and almost everything is included. There was a corn maze, corn box, tractor pull, pedal race cars, hay ride, burlap bag slide, and so much more.

HERO Project "Help"

Brandon has a class this year in 6th grade called Connections. They are learning to be "HERO"s for part of this class. The first letter in HERO stands for Help. For Help, the students had to help out somehow. They could help in anyway they wanted. Brandon chose to help the NICU since he was there for the first 12 weeks of his life by organizing a drive to collect preemie and newborn clothes, books, and blankets. He then went to deliver everything he collected to the NICU. Two of his nurses were working the night he delivered everything. It was really nice to see them. Brandon also saw his picture on the Hall of Hope and got to see the incubator he was in during a good portion of his NICU stay.

Fright Fest

Wesley's soccer team was in the Fright Fest tournament two weekends before Halloween. They won both of their games against teams that are in higher flights than them. His team dressed up as emojis for the tournament.
