Father's Day, Last Day of School, and Summer

Brandon and Wesley are finally done with school. Their last day was on Monday. We have been enjoying a lot of beach time. Soccer also started up this week for both boys.

Father's Day was on Sunday. We started the day with a hike at Holmdel Park.
Then we went to the beach. Wesley decided that he likes the ocean finally so he had a ton of fun swimming with everyone.
My parents and in laws came over after the beach and we got food from TGI Friday's to grill. It was delicious.
Last day of a very different school year.
Missy was spayed earlier in the week. She is not happy that she needs to wear a cone.
On the way to soccer.

Week 1 summer Karen/ Week 13 Brandon and Wesley

Brandon and Wesley just finished their last full week of school. They have one more day on Monday and then they are done! This was a pretty light week for both of them at school. I started virtual tutoring this week and will add in a few more kids this coming week.

Last Sunday morning I brought Missy on a walk around the block. When I brought her into the yard when we got back this is what I saw.
Later that day we went to the beach. We sat with the Green's and Caramanica's. We definitely are a beach group this summer which is nice. The kids love seeing peers and it is nice to see our friends too.
We had Rebecca's drive by birthday parade.
We had field day for Wesley's school. Of course he chose the water activities to do.
Wesley made a squishy pal with duct tape for his Gifted and Talented class.
The big question. We still do not know what is happening with school next year.
They love Missy so much.
We went on a walk around a lake in West Long Branch.
She found the dog in the mirror.
Ready to drop off his library books and text books at school.
Wesley's school had a virtual award ceremony on Friday. He got 3 awards. The maker space award, book club award, and the Janet Haberl Extra step award for doing more than you had to or for helping others.
A visit to the eye doctor. So sad this is how we need to go out in public now.
The town next to the one I grew up in, where I went to high school, opened a brewery on Thursday. Right now they are selling cans only because of coronavirus but I ordered all 4 of their beers to try. So good so far!
With 3 of my co-workers. We helped pass out the students belongings to them. It was Super Hero theme day.
