Disney Day 1 and 2
We went to Disney World from February 8-12. The morning we were set to leave Wesley woke up really sick at 3:45 am. I gave him Tylenol and got him to Disney.
Once we arrived at our hotel my mom and I brought him to the walk in clinic where we spent the next 5 1/2 hours. He wound up being diagnosed with flu type a, double ear infections, and possible strep throat. It was a rough two days on the trip until he finally started feeling better.
We took turns bringing Brandon to the parks but Brandon was upset that Wesley wasn't able to join us so we only spent a short time in the parks during the first two days.
Magic Kingdom
Brandon finally got to go on Space Mountain and loved it.
Mickey Ears
Wesley was amazed by this wood carver at our hotel. He watched him carve a wooden monkey when we returned from the walk in clinic and even got to help him carve it. We bought the monkey that he carved since Wesley loved it so much.
Wesley felt a little better to look at the animals on the hotel property towards the afternoon of the second day. We stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Jeff Feagles
We went to the Monmouth basketball game on the day of the Superbowl. Jeff Feagles, a former Giants player, was at the game signing autographs. He took time to talk to Brandon and Wesley and get a picture taken with them.
RFH Basketball Game
A few weeks ago we want to the RFH basketball game. Jack Velcamp, a senior who I had when he was in kindergarten, was playing that night. What an inspiration he is! He never let his disabilities get him down and has accomplished his dreams. He played for about half of the first quarter until he scored.
Science Fair
Brandon and Wesley both decided to participate in the science fair this year. Wesley tested rocks to see which would sink and which would float. Brandon tested different brands/types of potato chips to see which was the greasiest.

New York City
We were all off from school/work on Martin Luther King Day so we decided to go to New York for the day. Zack and Kenzie were both off too so they met us at one of our stops and then had lunch with us.
We drove into the city. Our first stop was the Nintendo Store which was a huge hit with both Brandon and Wesley.
We then went to the Lego Store.
Our next stop was the Hershey store.
Our last stop of the day, and the real reason we went to New York, was the NFL experience. Zack and Kenzie met us there. It was a really cool place. There was lots of NFL memorabilia, a 4d movie, the Vince Lombardi trophy, and interactive exhibits.
