Brandon’s party

Brandon had his friends party last night. He had ten of his friends plus Wesley and one of Wesley’s friends. First we went to a pizza restaurant in Long Branch. Then we walked down the street to an escape room. They didn’t quite escape but did all have fun trying to. 

Happy 10th Birthday Wesley!

Wesley turned 10 yesterday. The day started with him opening his presents. He got his cell phone that he was looking forward to for the last three years. 

He decided he wanted to go to the arcade at Point Pleasant. Both Brandon and Wesley won tons of tickets. Wesley won two stuffed animals. The big win of the day was Brandon. He won beat headphones playing a game in the arcade. 

We then had Olive Garden for dinner. Stu’s parents came over to join us for dinner. After dinner our next door neighbors and the Green’s came over for cake. 

Wesley’s Party

Wesley had his friends party this year at a retro arcade in Belmar. Covid numbers are finally low in NJ and after the past 15 months it was something that Wesley really needed. All but three kids he invited came to the party and the only reason they didn’t come is they already had plans. So I think other people felt the same way about finally having some normalcy. All of the kids at the party seemed to have a great time.

Sugar Factory

On Tuesday Wesley and I went to the Sugar Factory with Ava, Rebecca, Rebecca, and Stefanie to celebrate Wesley, Ava, and Rebecca turning 10. The three of them were born within weeks of each other and have literally grown up together. 

4th Grade Clapout

Wesley’s school has a 4th grade clapout on the last day of school for the 4th graders. It’s hard to believe I will have no more kids in elementary school. Brandon and Wesley will be together for one year next year in middle school.
