Vermont Breweries

We did drag Brandon and Wesley to several breweries while in Burlington. Overall they didn't mind going to them. They really liked the one since it had a foosball table for them to play.

Vacation Day 6 and 7

Our 6th day of vacation was mostly spent driving from Burlington to Howes Cavern, NY but we did stop at the University of Vermont book store first to look around.

We arrived in Howes Cavern around dinner time. We went out to dinner in the next town over and then went in the pool for a little while. When we got out there was a beautiful sunset.

The next day we went on a tour of Howe Caverns. We saw some amazing formations and went on a boat ride in the caverns. After the tour Brandon and Wesley got to go mining for rocks which they both loved.

Vacation Day 5

We went to Shelburne Farms to start the day. I think it was one of my favorite things that we did on our vacation. First we took a tractor ride to the farm. Then the boys got to milk a cow. They also looked in the chicken coop for eggs but did not find any. They brushed a goat too. We also saw them making cheese.

We then went to Magic Hat Brewery and took a tour. Wesley slept through most of it but Brandon enjoyed it.

We finished the day by going to one of our favorite restaurants in Burlington, Breakwaters. It is right on the water and it is so beautiful at sunset. There was a band playing that Brandon and Wesley liked listening too and both danced a little. It had rained earlier in the day and when we were eating dinner a rainbow came out.

Vacation- Days 3 and 4

We spent part of the day in Amherst on Monday walking around the campus and then we got in the car to drive to Burlington, Vermont for three nights. Our first stop in Vermont was at Cabot Cheese. We watched a video about how cheese is made and then got to watch them make cheese. There were plenty of samples to eat at the end of the tour!

On Tuesday our first stop was at Ben and Jerry's. We got to see how they make ice cream and got to have a sample at the end of the tour. Then we each got our own ice cream in a bowl to eat.

After Ben and Jerry's we went to Vermont Teddy Bear. We learned how they make the teddy bears. Wesley picked out a small teddy bear from there to buy. Brandon had one already from our last visit when he was 2!
