Wesley's 1 Year Well Visit and Allergy Appointment

Wesley had his 1 year well visit appointment on Friday. I didn't know if he would be ok to have it originally since he had roseola all last week but even though he still had the rash from it he was ok since he didn't have the fever anymore. Wesley weighs 22 pounds, 8 ounces (50th percentile) and is 30 1/2 inches long (75th percentile). His head circumference is also in the 50th percentile. Wesley had three shots which he wasn't happy about (chicken pox, tb, and I don't remember the third). Wesley is currently wearing a size 4 diaper and 18-24 month clothes. He drinks 4 bottles a day (just plays with a sippy cup when we give it to him) and eats 3 meals a day. He is finally starting to like finger foods. He eats puffs, cheerios, and wagon wheels. He also recently tried graham crackers and goldfish crackers and liked both and with his lunch today he tried some pancake. He loves ALL baby food. Wesley loves to play with his toys. He loves things that play music and dances to the music when he hears it. He also loves his brother and wants to be where he is at all times and doing what he is doing at all times. Wesley has four teeth but is on the verge of having four more cut through. He sleeps through the night. He usually has a bottle between 7:30-7:45 and sleeps until around 6. For a little while he was getting up around 5:15-5:30 but that seems to finally have passed. Today he even woke up at 6:40 so he is going in the right direction with sleeping a little later. He takes two good naps a day. Wesley took his first steps today. Stu was playing with him and let go and he took 4 steps. Wesley had an allergy appointment today to check to see if he has a milk allergy or intolerance. He has an intolerance. He can't have milk, yogurt, ice cream, pudding, etc. by itself but the doctor said we can try things that have milk baked with them. She said we could also try lactaid ice cream, yogurt, and milk and see how he does with them. She wants me to call her back in 3 months to see what we should do next as far as trying things since people can outgrow an intolerance.
