Seven Presidents Park

We went to a new park this afternoon to play. Ben and Uncle Rich came with us. I will definitely be bringing Brandon back to Seven Presidents Park. It was really nice. They have two play areas...one for kids 2-5 years old and one for kids 6-12 years old. Brandon loved playing on all of the things geared towards his age.

Rides and Petting Farm

Brandon went on more rides last night at the Italian Festival. There are 5 rides that he can go on so he went on all 5. Four of them he needs to be on with an adult so I have been going on with him. He loves going on the rides. Every time one ends he signs more right away.





Brandon also went to the petting farm at the Italian Festival. He loved petting all of the animals.

Fashion Statement

When Brandon woke up this morning he brought his Elmo flip flops over to me so that I could put them on him, even though he had his pajamas on. He has been wearing them now for over an hour and won't let me take them off.

Italian Festival- Night One

Brandon and I went to the Italian Festival last night with Stu since Stu is working at it with the fire department. We will be going every night through Sunday. We were there for close to 2 hours last night. Brandon tried his first zeppole and loved it. He went on the merry go round and train ride with me and went on his first ride by himself. He went on a ride that had different vehicles that just go around in a circle. He sat in the car. He LOVED the ride. When it finished I went to take him out and he started signing more and would not let me take him off so I had to give the guy who was operating the ride another ticket for him to go on again. There wasn't a line at the time so it was okay. He tried signing more after the second ride too but at that point there was a line so I took him off and he was not at all happy with me about it. Brandon also went on a firetruck ride last night since Stu's fire department had a firetruck to take people around the park. There was a dj playing music which Brandon had to stop at and start dancing. People got a kick out of seeing him dance. He also had fun putting hockey pucks through the hole in the goal net to win a hockey rubber duck.

Philadelphia Zoo

Yesterday Stu, Brandon, and I went to the Philadelphia Zoo with our friends Bob, Sommer, and their daughters, Sydney and Addison. Brandon and Sydney had a great time at the zoo. They loved seeing the animals and especially loved going into the petting zoo. Brandon loved petting the goats. He was so gentle petting them and even gave one a kiss. Brandon also went on his first pony ride and really liked it. The zoo had special lego exhibits throughout. They had built 10 different animals out of legos and had them spread out in the zoo. At each place where they had a lego animal they had animal information cards for the kids to collect. We had fun collecting those and got 7/10 of them. We didn't wind up seeing the other three since we had to leave to come home.

Preemie Get Together- Saturday

On Saturday we went to the National Zoo with everyone who was at dinner on Friday night. Meghan, Seth, and their son, Simon, also joined us. We got some cute pictures of all of the kids together but it was hard to do since they all wanted to go their own way.

That night Stu and Brandon stayed at Stu's brother's house to hang out and I went out to dinner with some of the moms. It was so nice to hang out with everyone and I am so happy that I finally got to meet so many people from my message board. Everyone was so nice and I hope we get to see eachother again one day.
